What is the purpose of Social Bookmarking?
The purpose of this is to create a shortcut to get to a specific place on a website without having to search for the specific a URL.

I use social bookmarking to link websites to my friends. Whether its sharing a YouTube video or sharing a database that will help with an assignment, social bookmarking is a great tool to help others find specific places on the internet.

(If needed: feel free to spend a little time on the Internet before you complete this post) The first way I learned to social bookmark a website it when i first used to cop and paste tool on the computer. I would recommend this tool for others, because it's easy to use.
